Independent Drink – Lounge on a colourful striped deck chair in the sun. Take a sip on a Cold Beer, a glass of Champagne or a Cocktail loaded with fresh Strawberries. With 8 Independent Bars at the festival, we have you covered – whatever your tipple. Want something non-alcoholic? No problem, we have a specialist bar squeezing fresh lemonade and juices on the spot for you.

Get ready for a tail-wagging day out! Join us on Saturday 13th June as we team up with Leeds City College to bring you a our Paws in the Park dog show in the stunning grounds of Temple Newsam, Leeds.

Set on the field in front of the House (opposite the farm entrance), this fantastic event promises fun for the whole family. Our much-loved dog show, kicks off at 11am, but there’s plenty happening all day long!

Try Orienteering at Temple Newsam

The series is designed to cater for beginners of all ages. All children and young people can take part in the events. We also welcome adults who would like to try out the sport.

The event will be around the old golf course.

We will be located opposite the Temple Newsam Park South car park (near the running track). You should be able to see the Airienteers feather and green tent.

The days of getting a post code physically stamped into a steel bike frame. Well, things have moved on since those days, but the principle remains the same.

Come along to Woodlesford Lock on the Aire & Calder Navigation and get your bike securely marked and added to the national database for free, helping protect it from theft.

Not just any motorway service station — we’re based at Skelton Lake Services (M1 J45), one of the UK’s most environmentally friendly service stations. It’s greener than green and even features a rooftop bird hide, a must-visit for any birdwatcher before or after your run.

All facilities within the services are available to runners, making this one of the most convenient and accessible trail races in Yorkshire.

Rothwell Kebabathon - Trail Run

This trail event begins right behind the services and heads into the scenic Rothwell Country Park, a beautiful blend of woodland, riverside paths, grass trail, and a touch of road. Expect one friendly undulation that rewards you with an incredible view of Leeds City Centre — it’s a highlight past runners rave about!

Whether you’re chasing a medal, a personal best, or just a day outdoors, the variety of terrain makes this one of our favourite courses. With multiple distances and a generous 6.5-hour cut-off, both walkers and runners are welcome.

Forest School For Home Educated Kids

Sessions are run by our qualified Forest School Practitioner and are based around the freedom of the forest.

Encouraging the children to work in teams or if they desire on their own, each session will involve a goal. It maybe to build a weatherproof shelter using natural materials, to process firewood and build a fire, create art on the forest floor, imagine a story and go on a quest, find and identify, alternatively the children may want to create their own path through the session.
