Festive Tours at Temple Newsam

A 1.5-hour guided tour of Temple Newsam House in its Christmas decorations, followed by festive refreshments in the Dining Room. Tours run Tuesday to Friday in the first three weeks of December (1–4, 8–11 and 15–18 December, from 11:00am), plus Christmas Eve morning. £15 per adult, £7.50 per child; best suited to adults and older children. Arrive 10 minutes before your tour.

The tour covers the history of Christmas at the house and its individual rooms, including some of the most expensive wallpaper in the world, Chippendale furniture, and the Rococo Picture Gallery with its themed trees.
