Halloween at Temple Newsam

Pick up a trail sheet and complete quizzes and activities in the Farm, Play Barn, House, Walled Garden and Golf Activity Park.

The farm will be transformed with silly skeleton scenarios, spooky displays and seasonal colour. Follow the pumpkin trail and get creative with self-led crafts in the Joiner’s Shop, where you can make your very own paper-chain skeletons.

There’ll be opportunities to meet some of our friendly farm animals, plus a selfie station in the Play Barn entrance courtyard.

The Walled Garden will be given a suitably spooky autumn makeover, complete with a pumpkin themed fact trail set amidst our beautiful chrysanthemum collection. Bring along a pumpkin to carve at our free event on Wednesday 28 October, 1-3pm.

With pumpkins, ghosts, skeletons, animals and plenty of autumn colour, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy this Halloween!
